Job Description:
Bisgaier Hoff, LLC is a Haddonfield law firm seeking a part time Legal Secretary/Assistant with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a law firm or legal environment to add to our team.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in law firm or legal environment.
Excellent computer skills.
Must have prior experience with litigation procedures and processes.
Electronic filing of documents.
Ability to work in a team-based setting supporting attorneys.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must have strong understanding of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
Ability to multi-task.
Initiative-taking and detail oriented.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting attorneys in their day-to-day practice, completing various administrative tasks, and serving as a point of contact to clients.
Coordinate workflow and ensuring work is completed within deadlines and according to attorneys' specifications.
Review work product and process in a timely manner.
Maintain filing (paperless, electronic).
Calendaring meetings, hearings, and deadlines.
Answering phone calls from clients, judges' offices, and other professionals.
Electronic filing with New Jersey Courts.
Flexible Schedule - approximately 20 hours per week.
